Studying in the summer will give you plenty of time to explore the unique features of Hong Kong and China. Cantonese programmes for non-native speakers with a choice of 3 weeks, 5 weeks, 6 weeks and 3 months. On top of quality intensive lessons, exciting cultural activities and budget on-campus accommodation will be provided if needed. Be prepared to immerse yourself in a vibrant environment and be equipped with exotic cultural experience.
Course load : 3 to 5 sessions a day, 5 days per week, 80 to 165 sessions per programme, daytime lessons.

Cantonese Summer Short Course for Non-Chinese Speakers (S2-6 weeks)
Date: July 2 to August 10, 2020
80 study hours leading to Foundation Certificate Programme in Chinese (Cantonese) for Non-Chinese Speakers. the modules focus on oral skills and listening comprehension, with proficiency-oriented activities based on useful vocabulary items, daily expressions and a wide variety of patterns. For reference only, students are usually expected to spend no less than 4 hours a week on revision to make progress. By the end of the foundation programme, students are expected to use Cantonese to ask and respond to simple questions, convey minimal meaning and satisfy some immediate needs.
