The University Programme Section at CLC provides language training in Cantonese and Putonghua to CUHK students.
According to their learning purpose and language background, language proficiency courses are sub-divided into: (1) Cantonese for Putonghua speaking students; (2) Cantonese for international students; (3) Putonghua for local students; and (4) Putonghua for international students.

Gold Award in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2022-2023
The Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme aimed to promote web accessibility among various industries and sectors, to provide caring and inclusive services to society, and to recognise organisations that have made outstanding efforts in facilitating access to their websites and mobile applications.
The website of CLC has won the Gold Award in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2022-2023, along with 20 other websites and mobile applications from CUHK.
